JP Watson joined the Group in April 2016 following a long career with an independent care provider in the Nursing Home sector. A Registered Nurse, JP has worked in various senior management roles, including quality assurance, delivery of clinical care, strategic management, leadership and governance since 1998.

As Group Managing Director, JP is responsible for the safe and effective delivery of our business operations and care services, leads the Senior Management Team and is accountable to our Board of Directors. In a voluntary capacity, he sits on and contributes to a number of expert and advisory committees within the Northern Ireland health and social care sector, is a Director of the Independent Health and Care Providers (ihcp) and is a member of the Leaders in Social Care Partnership with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council.

In addition to his professional life, he is involved in various community service groups within his locale, enjoys family life and long walks and is constantly inspired by the meaningful care delivered by our people every day.
