The home is occupied over two floors, both of which have relaxing and comfortable dayrooms and dining rooms, perfect for socialising. Our kitchen team cook fresh delicious and nutritious meals daily catering for a variety of different dietary requirements including IDDSI diets. Residents can also enjoy our courtyard garden area to relax in and enjoy the warmer weather and local wildlife.

Our Staff

We have a wide variety of people under our roof to ensure a high quality of care is provided. All staff complete mandatory training courses from health and safety, safeguarding through to dementia, moving and handling and more. This is delivered through our internally developed Optimum Inspire College providing face-to-face and online training. All nursing and care staff are registered with The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC).

Our homes are part of the ‘My Home Life’ programme which is part of an international initiative that promotes quality of life and delivers positive change in care homes for older people. Staff involved in the programme develop new and better ways of working benefiting the residents who live with us in our homes.

Finally, all our staff embody our company values of Teamwork & Partnership, Quality & Best Practice, Openness & Honesty, and Kindness, Understanding & Respect. Our values provide clarity for all our people and send a clear message to our residents and their families about the care and support they should expect from us.
